I'm an 'Idiot': Aamir Khan mocks SRK one again!

The battle between the Bollywood Khans seems to be never-ending. Everyone thought that Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan had set their differences aside, since they got together for the multiplex issue. But this seems to be far from true. Aamir Khan, who just returned from France, was asked by a journalist if he too was questioned by the authorities for being a Khan. Aamir plainly said that such checks were common and that the SRK issue was being blown out of proportion. He also added that people don’t check him because he is an idiot (referring to his film, Three Idiots) while SRK lands into trouble because he is intelligent (meaning that it was simply a publicity stunt). Salman too has earlier said that SRK’s airport check was merely for publicity.

Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty Lyricists: Sayeed Quadri and Kumar Singers: KK, Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali, Neeraj Shridhar and Shafqat Amanat Ali Rating:***1/2 Composer Pritam has churned out appealing tunes for the album of "Tum Mile", which stars Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan. The score is an all-male domain as none of the tracks features a female playback singer. The title song "Tum Mile" has three versions and is crooned by different singers. The first of the three has Neeraj Shridhar behind the microphone. It is a bouncy song that includes a few English lyrics as well. But this version doesn't impress much. The next is a melodious mushy offering by Javed Ali. It is slower in pace but more appealing. The song succeeds in creating a romantic feel. The third one is the rock version, which is equally nice and is sung wonderfully by Shafqat Amanat Ali. High on electric guitar, this version is very impressive and has the potential to be a chartbuster. Next is "Dil Ibaadat", sung by KK. This soft-paced song is a signature Pritam composition. This too has a rock version, which is better than the original. This one is more interesting and strikes a chord with the listener. Next in line is a song with a Sufi influence, "Tu hi haqeeqat". Crooned by Javed Ali, the soulful number is a delight to hear owing to its lyrics and great orchestration. "Iss Jahan Mein" by Mohit Chauhan has incorporated contemporary sounds. It is a nice, pleasing number. Then there is "Oh meri jaan", a slow, poignant track. KK is the favourite for such mellow songs and he proves his prowess yet again with this number. The soundtrack also entails an instrumental piece. On the whole, Pritam has done a commendable job. All the songs are worth listening and is sure attract music buffs.

Shreya Ghoshal’s voice mesmerized viewers on the television show Sa Re Ga Ma not once but twice after which, Shreya became one of the most sought after playback singers in Bollywood. Basics on Shreya Shreya Ghoshal was born in Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, India on the 12th March 1984. She is a Bengali Brahmin. Her father was an engineer at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center while her mother holds a degree in literature. Ghoshal studied at the Atomic Energy Central School in Kota and Mumbai.
