AATIF- we want to see u back

As the name ATIF ASLAM gets familiar it continues to enlighten, cogitate and provide people and many young hearted fans that are devoted to him, to dwell on his renowned artistry and unorthodox presence.

Being the youngest sibling of all his brothers, he still managed to be an excellent student. He was really laadla to his parents.

one of his sweet memories.

"One day we all friends were sitting out of the canteen after ending up all of our pocket money in the canteen but still every one was feeling a little hungry due to our small budgets. Suddenly a "Samosay Wala" baba came into picture who was holding a tray of crispy samosas on his head and all the friends had a bet k agar Atif is ka sir say samosay utha kar gaib ho gaya to aglay aik week ke liye us ko baqi sara friends treat dain gay in canteen.

I was pumped up by my friends and I decided to do this little stunt. I was walking quietly behind that samosay wala who cannot see behind and cannot imagine what is going to happen to him. I was very near to him, I took advantage of my height and long arm and I picked up three samosas from his tray with out any movement. Samosay walay ko kuch pata nahin chala peechay kiya hua.

I was about to turn after hearing the clap of my friends who were sitting behind me near the canteen until i saw a girl coming out of the library in front of me. She was the whole scene and started pointing at me while seeing that samosay wala. It was a freighting moment but I was quick enough to take a sharp turn into one of the streets of my college and vanished.

We shared those three samosas among all the friends later on at some other spot but they were amazing, probably the best samosas ever eaten. They paid the samosay wala later on but it was a sweet memory to him."

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan songs and Kishore Kumar were an inspiration to him. In 1998 at PAF College Lahore and sarogodha. Atif's friends forced and encouraged him to participate in a singing event on Independence Day. while Atif performed at that event on stage that evening people were thrilled to hear him out and therefore he won first place.

Atif recorded the first song in his voice named "AADAT" in Mekaal Hassans studios Lahore. Mekaal Hassans injected and fused his professionalism and experience in the song.

Atif decided to form a band named "Jal" which meant "Water" and proceed with his singing career. The Theme behind JAL, meaning water was that it was a feeling which was blue and deep, that if once anyone would fall into it they could not imagine themselves returning from it. Its depth was unlimited.

Blue; which was the mother of all colors and the strongest element of nature and life; being a drop of rain which fell from the blue sky and finally rest on to the ground which to most of us would not be the end of it; because as light would strike it, it would disperse into 7 different colors through which a Rainbow would take into shape and finally which give meaning to JAL itself, seven colors being born from one color blue. "Aik rung sey sath rung"

Atif first album "JAL PARI" was released on 20th july 2004 all over the nation by a leading record label called SOUND MASTER and IC RECORDS.
